Normally I will blog about Art Deco lamps which are available in the average collectors price range but why not kick off the blog with a $40,000 bronze Marcel Bouraine Art Deco lamp? Apparently another lamp by Bouraine just sold at Sotheby’s for $78,000. The particular lamp is very detailed and the colors/patina are still well intact. It appears the glass “shades” are still intact as well. You can read more about the lamp and see additional pictures at the auction listing.
