The McKee name has been associated with glass products since 1834 and lasted all the way until 1961 when Jeanette glass bought the property and continued to make products until 1983. This particular seller has the above pictured Vaseline-colored lamp as well as a matching sister that is pink.
Having two of them aroused my suspicions that they may be from later re-production, albeit by the same maker. However the fixture in this one appears to have age, while the pink lamp has a replacement socket, so hard to tell.
The lamp is currently priced at $499 with a single bid and four days to go.

Hello, I was wondering if you could help me. I recently accquired a Danse de Lumiere Vaseline lamp similiar to the one on this page. The difference is that the base is metal and is footed. It also has been painted gold. The wiring and socket seems original. It is signed. Do you think this may be a reproduction as I have only seen this item with a glass base? Thank you

I have a pink Danse De Lumiere, with a silver colored metal base. It was my grandmothers. If she hadn’t died, she’d be over 100 by now. I’m not saying it isn’t a reproduction, but due to her age it’s not likely. Cord also looks original.
