This arching eagle lamp has a signed shade by Rethondes of Rethondes France, and is signed, while the lamp base is by Charles Ranc, though unsigned.
You can see a signed Ranc base that is identical here. What is shocking is the price differential between the two. The Ebay item to the right is currently in the $200s while the Ranc lamp in Australia is $3,800 US. I know we’re talking about comparing Ebay vs. a retail venture, but that price difference is rather radical.

I have this lamp but a different shade. Also it is in it’s original patiina not polished.
Can you tell me where it may be signed? I have looked everywhere with no luck.

The signature is on the shade, ToJen. You may have a replacement shade.
